There are moments when life stops making sense the way it used to. You might not be able to name exactly what’s shifted, but something has, and you find yourself wanting more. More honesty in your relationships, more confidence in who you are, more room to breathe, more peace. I work with people who are in exactly that in-between place, where the old way isn’t working and the new way hasn’t shown itself yet.

All of life has ebbs and flows. We can work together to find your authentic self. We might have to go deep to actually look at what is causing your situation right now and shift it. When we do, transition to peace and happiness can take place in a positive way, into living authentically. It’s my job to help facilitate and show you a path that the change in your life you want can happen.

You have the ability and the power to change your situation. I believe therapy gives you the ability to recognize that but also take the steps needed to make it different. Authenticity is an extremely powerful way to live. You get to feel confident and in control of the decisions you make and be who you want to be in the world. That is a definite path to happiness.

Experience:

I’m a psychotherapy student in my final year of practicum. I’m currently being supervised by Karla Lang, MA in MFT at LivLove.

I naturally bring warmth and empathy to your session. With me, clients feel comfortable opening up because I have a strong ability to listen deeply, picking up what is said and what may be harder to express in the moment. I automatically show up as a human first, down to earth and understanding.

My favourite clients to work with are those trying to figure out relationship challenges, personal growth and difficult transitions.

I have a particular interest in supporting gay men navigating identity, relationships, and the complexities of living in smaller or rural communities. For those who may not be fully open about their sexuality, therapy can offer a private, affirming space to explore what it means to live authentically while honouring your own pace, circumstances, and sense of safety.

My approach is warm, discreet, and grounded in respect for each person’s individual experience. I’m also passionate about working with sexuality, one’s emotional well-being and self-worth.

My own personal growth path led me to figure out how to live authentically, so I know how to also help you live with that confidence too. I always wanted to be a psychotherapist, and after a detour choosing a career path influenced by other people, I found my way back to myself. I love paying it forward in helping you find your way back to yourself.
